I live near Mooloolaba in Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast!
There are so many excellent spots to stay (are you a beach or a mountains person?) so you're welcome to book your own accommodation and I can come to you OR I can organise accommodation according to your requirements and we just factor that in!
I can also come to you (travel expenses will be included in the cost).

Your Questions... Answered
We have beautiful, relaxed, luxe feel villas in Ubud (Penestanen area) Bali.
You'll have your own, private bedroom and bathroom to yourself. The villas have a relaxed retreat feel with private pool, gorgeous furnishings and appliances, co-working and workshop spaces as well, wifi, outdoor areas, living areas and plenty of space for quiet! Each villa has 2 or 3 bedrooms + living area and pool.
There are loads of ways to get around Bali, but the easiest will be to hire a car + driver. Depending on where you're coming from, expect to pay around $35-50 Aussie bucks from the usual tourist haunts or the airport. I can organise airport transfers for you for about $40 per trip from the airport to our accommodation.
Breakfast is prepared fresh by local staff each day (a fresh fruit salad or whatever is seasonal and available plus eggs your way (scrambled, poached, boiled, omelette etc.) + toast) - GF bread is available from the local supermarket which you can buy on arrival and it will be cooked for you.
For lunches, you choose your selection each day from a cafe menu nearby and it will be delivered to us. All cafes have a range of vegan / vegetarian and GF options.
Dinners are free time - we often go somewhere together, and there are hundreds of incredible options close by; everything from vegan Italian to meaty grills.
Basic coffee, tea and filtered water will be available throughout the day at the villa.
Alcohol is not included in retreat but you're welcome to BYO!
Please also BYO if you have any food requirements and also let Claire know at the time of booking so arrangements can be made. There is a large supermarket not too far away that has most ingredients you might need.
Your safety is very important to me.
I have travelled to Bali about 10 times and have run yearly retreats there with 5-7 people since 2016 and I'm very comfortable guiding you around. The area we stay in is call Penestanen Kelod in Ubud. It's less hectic than the centre of town (which is about a 30 minute walk or 5-10 minute scooter ride). I have a local contact, Made, who helps with all sorts of logistics and who I trust with my children (he has taken them on little adventures from time to time) so I trust that he and his crew are also looking out for us.
We are well away from Kuta (not my cup of tea) and the Ubud locals are absolutely beautiful! There are mobile GPs who can come to you at the villa (for under $100 - and make sure you have travel insurance) in case you get sick and the cafes we eat at have never caused anyone in my family or on retreat any issues re the dreaded Bali Belly - of course it's always a risk in a developing country so bring hydralyte and immodium just in case!
Of course, personal vigilance is required! Each villa has a lockable safe (in fact, most rooms have their own too), all bedroom doors are lockable and the villas have a key + wooden slide lock as well. The villas and paths are well-lit and we don't go too far from 'home' at night. OMG I totally get it! Leaving normal life stuff and people is HARD! I was away from mine for 3 weeks in 2024, 2023, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 (I ran my retreat and then went on a yoga retreat plus had a few spare days in Bali) and it's tough being away from them for so long (and also hard reintegrating to mama duties when I got home)... this is a big decision in coming to Bali and I can tell you that as hard as it is, it is also SUPER REWARDING for me and for them. We chat every day (sometimes twice - just double check the time difference so you can coordinate with whoever's still at home) and I occasionally have left them little daily envelopes with notes, challenges, a sneaky choccie here and there etc. I also personally love showing my kids that it's safe for them to be away from me for a little while and one day I hope they'll also feel safe and excited to travel out of their comfort zones too!
When it comes to a 'break away from your business'... well.. it is and it isn't. It's the perfect opportunity to break some yucky habits that aren't serving you and to focus in on an important project or set of tasks that you just don't get to when all the usual daily stuff competes for your attention.
As for home stuff... well... let's just say it took me a good month to get back into the swing of even emptying the dishwasher... what a MASSIVE treat to not have to cook, clean, wash or drive for a whole week! You DESERVE and NEED and ARE ALLOWED to take time away xx
100% agree. I've made this trip and held this retreat so many times and I still feel a bit of anxiety from time-to-time. As an introvert I plan 'Cave Time' before and after retreat to decompress and prepare mentally and physically so I highly recommend you do the same.
To help you feel organised, ready and calm, I send monthly emails (and then weekly closer to the date) so you're prepared, in-the-know with any updates and you know what to expect when you touch down. I can arrange my driver to collect you and your luggage from the airport and deliver you straight to me so I can show you to your villa / room on arrival. I'm pretty good (if I may say so) at picking up when you need something, so if it's time and space: perfect! If it's a feed, we'll get you fed. If it's a beer and swim in the villa pool, let's do that! It usually takes 24 hours to settle in so the first day is very cruisy and spacious to let you do whatever you need to do in order to touch down calmly!
Where do I start…? Just about everything you put out into the world as known by your business, is content. Your blogs, videos, social media posts, replies to messages, phone calls, sales pages, landing pages, website pages, newsletters & so much more. There's also plenty of quiet spots in the villa to record audio or video and I can organise a photographer for you to do a shoot while we're there too! Just bring whatever you need (recording device such as laptop, smart phone, recorder etc.), lighting and outfits.
If you don't already have a blog / pod / social presence - ALL GOOD! If you do, that’s great… if you don’t, we’re starting at the lush fields of Ground Zero!
I got your back, GF! I'm an introvert so I'm very boundaried around my time (i.e. if we're wrapping up at 4, I'll probably be out the door at 4:05 to make sure that I can keep my batteries full to hold beautiful space for you for the entire duration of retreat). On our first morning together, we discuss boundaries, queues and expectations (we even have a safe word) to make sure that YOUR NEEDS are met.

We are all grown-ass women and if you need to go for a walk, take a nap, have a swim, get your dancing shoes on... there's time and space and ENERGY for all that!
In terms of WHO else you will retreat with... the dynamic always blows me away! Of course, I believe the group of people who ultimately end up on retreat together are there for a reason! We discuss this on your call before you book so can talk about any concerns or requests you have then too!
We have a 30-minute online planning session together before the retreat so I can get a grip on your business and retreat priorities. Throughout the retreat, we spend a tonne of time together - in group as well as 1:1.
Each day, during the Pom Sessions, everyone gets a turn (or 3) at a sprint with my eyes on your biz for super-personalised strategy and implementation. We can do this in 3 x 30 minutes or a big 1.5 hour session - whatever you need!
After retreat, you get access to discounted VIP upgrades for as many 1:1 sessions with me as well as Batch It Crazy membership.
The price of your retreat ticket covers accommodation for 6 nights, all breakfasts made in-house (you cover your own if you choose to eat out), lunches (a main + non-alcoholic drink), the day-spa (7.5 hours) and the sound healing journey at Pyramids of Chi.
You'll need to pay for your own:
- airfare, travel insurance, passports, visa (around AUD$50) & transfers to/from the airport (around AUD$40 each way - payable in rupiah cash)
- transfers around Bali
- dinners (most places you can get a starter, main and drink for about $15-20)
- spending money (hello markets!)
